April – Ebooks
My e-book on how the Bookleteer format could be used in schools has been selected to be one of a dozen titles available on a print-on-demand basis through Proboscis. Prices start at £1.61 per copy.
I’m preparing two lectures on interactive storytelling for the American Regents College, London.
Year 11 girls at the Royal Alexandra & Albert School have reviewed my teenage novel Getting High. The comments are encouraging. It’s interesting to see how their comments compare with the feedback from the Year 9s and Year 10s at Bacon’s College.
I’ve spent a year studying novel-writing at City Uni and Birkbeck. To keep my writing skills well-oiled I’m spending this term at a weekly creative writing class at the Mary Ward Centre. £8 per class – bargain!
I’m looking forward to attending various seminars on digital at the London Book Fair. Here’s what the big publishing houses said about ebook prices at last year’s LBF. What will they say one year on?
